Chinmaya Mission UK is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our site and the confidentiality of the personal information which our customers provide us with.

The information we collect is used to ensure that your order is processed smoothly. Beyond that we only use personal information if volunteered by you, by active subscription to our mailing list. We will never sell personal information or share personal information with third parties unless these are involved to fulfil your order.

Any personal information you give to Chinmaya Mission UK will be held with the utmost care and security in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the United Kingdom’s Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented

Chinmaya Mission UK will not collect any personal information about individuals, except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Examples of such information are: name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone and fax numbers.

Chinamaya Mission UK regards customer security and confidentiality as paramount. When you place orders and make payment online, we use a secure server (SSL) encryption technology that meets a world-recognised standard. The secure server technology (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is transmitted.

Chinmaya Mission UK does not keep credit card details anywhere other than on our payment processing provider’s secure-server.

If you have signed up to our mailing list, we will send you emails periodically pointing out promotions, discounts, etc. If at any time you wish to remove your details from the mailing-list e-mail info@chinmayauk.org
