The Gita Quest: Junior CHYK Residential Camp 2026

Dates: Friday 7th – Sunday 9th August 2026

Venue: Holmewood House School, Tunbridge Wells

Age: Currently in Year 8-13 (in the 2025/26 academic year)

Event Overview

The Gita Quest: 5 Keys to Unlock Your Hidden Potential is an immersive two-night residential camp for Junior CHYKs, set in the beautiful countryside grounds of Holmewood House School in Tunbridge Wells.

The Bhagavad Gita holds timeless wisdom — but how does it actually apply to your life as a young person today? Drawing from the Gita Panchamrit, five essential verses of the Bhagavad Gita, this camp will take you on a quest to discover five powerful keys that unlock your hidden potential — keys to clearer thinking, stronger willpower, better decision-making, and a life lived with confidence and purpose.

We are truly blessed to have this camp guided by Swamini Supriyananda (Chinmaya Mission Hong Kong) and Brni. Shripriya Chaitanya (Chinmaya Mission UK) — a first for Chinmaya Mission UK to have both teaching together at a JC camp. They will be supported by a dedicated team of 7 CHYK sevaks, creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for learning and growth.

Whether you’ve grown up attending Bala Vihar or are exploring Vedanta for the first time, this camp is your invitation to discover what the Gita has to offer — and to connect with a community of young people on the same journey.
