CMUK-Chinmaya Kirti Renovation/Maintenance Appeal

So in this year of 2020 as we see Pujya Swami Chinmayananda’s vision further unfold and grow, Chinmaya Mission UK has created a vision for the future for this and the next generation. Chinmaya Mission UK has planned a full renovation of Chinmaya Kirti (our main centre) to meet the growing needs of all of our mission wing activities and to build the heart of Chinmaya Mission UK for a new generation. Chinmaya Kirti is the focal point of all Chinmaya Mission UK activities for the past 16 years where we have seen our numbers and events grow. It is now time to think about further growth and ensure that we have a centre, a home that is fit for the next generation, so they have a place where they can learn, grow, develop and serve. This renovation will start from November this year and is expected to take at least 14 months, after which the centre will have an expanded main hall, accommodating up to 300 and enabling greater numbers to participate in events, more class rooms to accommodate our study classes on the 1st floor, with a dedicated prayer hall and new bookshop and living quarters for resident teachers, a conference room and satsang (meeting) room on a new 2nd floor. If you believe in the importance of the work that Chinmaya Mission does and the need to ensure this is preserved for our children and their children then we request you to come forward and support this great vision. The renovation is currently forecasted to cost £1.9m.
