Below are the terms and conditions, which, along with the web site terms and conditions, govern orders by you ("you") of “the Products" through this web site. By ordering the Products you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

General Information

1. Details of the amount, type and price of Products ordered by you [along with any applicable delivery costs] are set out in the checkout form which you submit to us via this web site. The price of each Product stated on the website is only valid for as long as such price is stated on the website.


2. You must pay for the Products by credit card. Your card details will be requested after you submit the checkout form. You must enter your credit card details on the secure site hosted by our payment service provider. [All card details are encrypted at the highest level available for commercial use.] If a third party makes dishonest or fraudulent use of your payment card for any form of online shopping you have certain rights under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel the payment and obtain a refund from your card issuer. Confirmation of Order

3. Once we have verified that your payment details are correct we will send you a confirmation email if your order has been successful. This email will contain order details and a transaction reference number. Until we send you this email we have not accepted your order submission and the contract for provision of the Products has not been concluded.


4. The Products will be delivered to the address submitted by you as the address for delivery on the order form (or, if no such address is submitted, the address of the cardholder) within [30] days of the day on which you submit the order for such Products to us, but usually within less than that period. As soon as the Products have been delivered to you will be responsible for them. You will only own the Products once we have been paid in full in respect of such Products.

5. If the Products arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us by email within 7 days and return the goods to us within 14 days. We will then promptly arrange for undamaged Products to be delivered to you and will refund your direct postage costs of returning the damaged goods to us.

6. If we are unable to procure that the Products are delivered to you within the time period as set out above, we will inform you of this and either reimburse any sums paid by you in relation to such Products within 30 days of the day on which we should have delivered the Products to you or, with your agreement, procure that the Products are delivered to you by another date.

Order Acceptance

7. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the products you have ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

8. Rejection of an order by us may result from one of the following:

1. The product you ordered is unavailable.

2. A pricing or product description error is identified.

3. We are unable to obtain authorization for your payment.

4. You fail to give us the correct billing address to which the credit or debit card used to make your purchase is registered.

5. We are unable to verify the security details you have given in relation to the credit or debit card used to make your purchase.

6. You have provided a billing or delivery address that is a PO box, mail drop box,or any other kind of forwarding address.

9. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase made by you at any time.

Cancellation Right

10. You have a statutory 'cooling off' period of seven business days from the day you receive your goods, in which time you should notify us should you wish to cancel your contract with us and a full refund will be given, including any original delivery charges.

If you should choose to return a product to you by providing you notification within the seven day cooling off period, then the return delivery costs will be borne by you, the customer. However, if you are returning the product(s) due to a fault, the return costs will be borne by us, the merchant.

11. You are only entitled to cancel the contract if when we receive the Products they are in the exact condition in which they were delivered to you.

12. In the event that you are entitled to a refund please note that such refund will be made by the same method used to pay for the order and will not include our postage and packing costs.

Statutory Rights

13. These terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy, do not affect your statutory rights.

14. This website is subject to the law of England and Wales and any disputes will be dealt with the Courts of England and Wales. If ordering outside of England and Wales it is your responsibility to check with your local laws as to the legality of our products.

15. Chinmaya Mission UK shall not have any liability whatsoever or be deemed to be in default for any delays or failure in performance under these Terms and Conditions resulting from acts beyond its control, including by not limited to acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supranational authority, war or national emergency, terrorist activities, accident or fire.

16. It is your responsibility to check that it is legal for you to view, purchase & receive the materials provided by this site, based on your local community laws.

17. It is the customers' responsibility regarding import and customs regulations for their own locality. We do not assume liability of any kind for shipments seized by customs.
